CALL FOR DREAMS
OF PLANTS

Until 30 May 2025

“When a child speaks to a tree, the tree responds, the child understands” (Jacques Prévert).

Plants have their own languages, older than the oldest words written on their leaves. What do they say to each other? What lines should be used to draw the words, to express the traces they leave behind in your dreams?

Participate in the creation of the installation by Anaïs Tondeur (artist), Floriane Pochon (composer), Marine Legrand (anthropologist), and Michael Marder (philosopher), as part of 2km4_Pour une écologie joyeuse, a project led by SIANA.

As part of “2km4_For a Joyful Ecology,” a project led by SIANA that brings together artists, scientists, and residents around a 2.4 km survey line between the Yvette Valley “below” and the Saclay Plateau “above,” and forms of care for living things.

The 2km4_For a Joyful Ecology project began at the end of 2023 and aims to forge links between the Yvette Valley and the Saclay Plateau. It takes place over a variety of time periods, including research and sharing.

Monthly research sessions between artists, scientists, and “residents” in the broadest sense (all those who live in this territory, whether they live there, work there, study there, regularly explore it, or are simply interested in it) on the landscapes and living beings, human and non-human, that inhabit these 2.4 km of land and its surroundings.

Sharing times, adapted to the seasons, are open to all, to inform and discuss the progress of this research.
