for the Floating time

Text, Voice, Rec & Edit: Floriane Pochon

Through the folds. Between the seams.
Where silence gathers, everything holds.

radiophonic essay, in 7 movements

Some languages trace themselves through the air, some are born in the night.
Here, you’ll find words that exist nowhere else. They are spores, invented fragments, shards of perception not yet shaped.

You don’t need to understand them.
You can just let them pass.
You can listen as one walks through a landscape, without searching for a map.

These words are also a discreet, shifting homage to Gherasim Luca, to the way he made language dance and opened thresholds.
And maybe, too, to those who watch for light at the edges, or tame wings that still struggle to fly.

What matters, perhaps, is the faint rustle of something that grows.

Promousse for Floating Time is a sonic piece in 7 movements, where voice, sound and listening venture together into a porous territory.
It was created as part of the Rêves et Veillées project, imagined with and for the Sentier des Lauzes, in Saint-Mélany.
It is a gesture of slowness, of gliding, and of invisible threads.
