In search of Green Noise

Bruit vert is a Nantes-based production structure, linking sound creation and questions about the living. For this Carte Blanche, it gives the floor to the Labotanique group, which composed its new EP on an island in the Loire, forbidden to humans. A panel will explore the question of the use of field recording in sound creation. And finally, DJ Wild Cut Clem will present his audionaturalist DJ Set..

18:00-20:00 : An immersive listening experience “In search of green noise”, Labotanique & La Fab Sonic

In September 2023, the Labotanique duo decided to live self-sufficiently on an island in the Loire forbidden to humans, La Motte Island. They composed their new EP there. Surrounded by 7 speakers, come and dive into this immersive experience.

20:30-21:30 : Panel « Listening to the Living » with Floriane Pochon & Vincent Lostanlen

The world around us is populated with sound materials that we struggle to grasp. During this round table, the question of the sound of the living will be dissected, through the artistic prisms with Floriane Pochon (Founder of Phaune Radio, podcast producer at Studio Tarabust with Alain Damasio, and Pixel Reef with Eric Chahi), and scientific with Vincent Lostanlen (CNRS researcher specialized in signal processing, University of Nantes).

21:30-22:30 : Audionaturalist DJ set, by Wild Cut Clem

Exploration is the watchword of Nantes DJ and engineer Wild Cut Clem. Music and audionaturalism mix and draw soundscapes in the listeners’ ears.
