Refuge of Breaths

Discover a strange soundwalk through the alleys of Mont-Dauphin. Here or elsewhere, each step invents a new chapter in a living history.

Ear you are, perhaps trying to answer a question, following traces that often go unnoticed.

Here, marmots might dance at the foot of the ramparts, while foxes could hum mysterious tunes at the edge of the sky. In the middle of the day, you might hear crickets starting their nocturnal concert and sheep philosophizing in the alpine meadows. Can you distinguish the cry of the hawk from that of a passerby surprised by a butterfly?

With or without headphones, the ancient stones create unique resonances as the wind whispers its secrets to them. With or without a map, the peaks hold a memory and remind you that within this immense network, both mobile and immobile, you are getting signal from everywhere.

Rest assured, you are not truly lost: everything will unfold at the right time.
