Tiny Tunes #11: Bluebottle Fly

Rec & Edit: Floriane Pochon

It's not a bug. It's a feature.

Tiny Tunes From The Wilder World

As time flies, many familiar insects are still often considered pests, even though they are entirely necessary for ecosystems.
Thus the blue fly, an expert in aerobatics and a skilled pollinator, begins its life in the form of a tiny egg, dropped on fresh or decomposing meat.
From there, a voracious maggot hatches which grows rapidly, before freezing into a pupa.
Inside this cocoon, all of its organs dissolve in the acid to reconfigure into adult.
When it’s time, our soon-to-be flying creature uses its head, which inflates like a balloon, to emerge.

A frenetic story of an inner revolution where we feel ourselves growing wings.
At this stage, anything is possible.

Tiny Tunes From The Wilder World, a series tho make the buzz.
