Nothing in the cry of cicadas...

Tiny Tunes From The Wilder World

Nothing in the cry of cicadas suggests they are about to die.
― Matsuo Bashō

For the noisiest insect on the planet, each and every experience is a chance to shape a unique and singular voice. To this end, the cicada – still a nymph – is getting prepared between 10 months and 17 years underground, sipping tree sap, until its molecular clock gives the so-long awaited signal. Then comes the time of love and air life, a synchronized time for millions of congeners who play together on the effect of saturation to survive predators. Ultimate song that can last for a single day, it is for this that our cicada moults and moves heaven and earth, before finishing as pulsed natural resources, on the ground, from where it comes.

Passing through a forests of cymbals which look at you with familiar eyes.
On this stage, everything is possible.

Tiny Tunes From The Wilder World, a larger-than-life series, entirely based on real events.
Featuring : Magicicada septendecim.

|+| Premiere listening at SCAM, Paris, on 6th November 2018, for the special birthday party of our friends from Syntone, with the complicity of Radio Campus Paris.
